If you are planning to have a leisure area in your garden, you really should make sure that you allow for the inclusion of brick lights in any walls or brick-built features you may be including, because they do look absolutely amazing. They give subtle low light which would give a really professional finish to any area, as well as being very useful for security and safety reasons. Brick lights on the Lighting Majestic website are available as brick sized inserts or the square shaped light which would fit into a glass wall, which are becoming very popular in smaller gardens when looking for a divide between one area of a garden to another while still leaving lots of light and space. If you are building a conservatory, adding glass wall with brick lights incorporated in it would be a stunning conversation piece.

Adding brick lights when building a wall is the easiest way to do it, but they can be added later if the design requires it. They are not difficult to fit and because they are designed specifically for outdoor use, they are safe in any setting, although it is a good idea to check all of the specifications on the Lighting Majestic website before committing to them. Your electrician would be able to advise you which of the brick lights would be the most suitable. Some brick lights have grilles over the light source, which would help to direct the light downwards, making them a safer option for use on steps or a particularly dark area as the light will not shine in the eyes of people passing by.

Brick lights can also be recessed into the wall and directed downwards. These LED lights are very bright but not dazzling and are excellent safety features. They make a very elegant way of lighting the way for visitors to your home, with the added advantage of course that nothing protrudes from the wall so anyone not used to the property will not be at risk of bumping into the fitment. Brick lights can be controlled from a single switch inside or out and can be fitted at any height in the wall. About knee height is best if they are to light the way, but as mood lighting in a leisure space, they look best if they are scattered randomly at all heights on the wall, although head height is best avoided to prevent dazzle.
